Evergrande Group: Hengchi 5 officially mass produced in Tianjin factory

Evergrande Group said that Hengchi 5 launched its first vehicle on December 30 last year, launched its global pre-sale on July 6, and ordered more than 37000 vehicles in less than 15 days. It is officially mass produced today and will start delivery in October.

In addition, Hengchi Automobile will accelerate the research, development and mass production of other models. Hengchi 6 will go offline at the end of this year and be mass produced in the first half of next year; Hengchi 7 will go offline in the first half of next year, and will be mass produced in the second half of next year. At the same time, the R&D progress of Hengchi 1 and Hengchi 3 will be accelerated.

Hengchi previously said that the first 10000 new cars will be delivered from October this year, and the first 10000 cars will be delivered before the first quarter of next year.

Hengchi 5 belongs to pure electric luxury SUV, and its body size exceeds BMW X1. Hengchi 5 is equipped with Ningde era lithium iron phosphate battery, with a rated power of 72.8KWh and a range of 602km. In the fast charging mode, it takes only 28 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%.

Hengchi 5 sold 179000 yuan in advance, and provided 10 rights including refunds on the 15th day of collection, which is the first model of Hengda Automobile. It was previously reported that the first batch of pre-sale production of Hengchi 5 was about 10000 units, and the first batch of delivery was expected to be from October 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023.
