Sensirion Introduces Temperature Sensors for Automotive Applications
Sensirion announced the introduction of the STS4xA digital temperature sensor series, which is designed for automotive applications with high reliability. The sensor platform supports automatic optical detection and is equipped with an advanced on-board diagnostic system.
Switzerland's St ä fa – Sensirion has added a new member to the family of temperature sensors with rich categories - the automotive digital sensor STS4xA, which currently includes two models: STS41A-AD1B and STS41A-AW1B. The latter is an optional wettable wing package that supports automatic optical detection. In addition, the heater integrated in the chip can realize advanced on-board diagnosis (OBD), so that functional and rational diagnosis can be carried out, rather than just a simple status check.
Matthias Scharfe, Product Manager of Sensirion Temperature and Humidity Sensor, said: "The expansion of the new generation of temperature sensor series has improved the accuracy and reliability of sensors in the automotive application field, and more customers will benefit from it. Sensirion STS4xA temperature sensor is based on the STS4x series, with wide power supply voltage range, low power consumption, and ideal performance.".
Based on Sensirion CMOS ens ® Technology and rich experience in the field of temperature sensing, the sensor has a mature professional foundation in engineering. STS4xA is not only cost-effective, but also equipped with I ² C interface and wide power supply voltage range. The STS4xA can be easily integrated into a variety of automotive applications due to its small size and square double plane pin less (DFN) package. In addition, it also complies with relevant industry standards, such as "double 85" (85 ° C/85% RH) accelerated life test.
