Diodes launches space saving TVS, providing excellent ESD and surge protection for high-speed I/O
Diodes Corporation (Nasdaq: DIOD) has announced the launch of a new bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode to meet the market's demand for proper protection of high-speed data ports. D3V3Z1BD2CSP to meet the requirements of protecting against electrostatic discharge (ESD) impacts and sudden wave events. The main applications of this product are efficient computing hardware, smartphones, laptops and tablets, monitors, and I/O ports for gaming consoles.
Although many competing products must make design compromises and choose between strong surge protection features or low input capacitance, D3V3Z1BD2CSP can simultaneously propose both advantages. Its extremely low capacitance value (typically 0.3pF) does not interfere or hinder high-speed data communication, ensuring the maintenance of signal integrity. Its peak pulse current (typical value 10.5A) and low clamping voltage (5.3V) ensure that the I/O port and its sensitive electronic components are not affected by transient voltage. Therefore, the risk of electrical overstress damage caused by frequent thermal insertion and other activities is avoided. D3V3Z1BD2CSP meets the IEC61000-4-2 immunity standard and provides strong ESD protection for ± 20kV air and contact discharge, thereby improving system reliability.
D3V3Z1BD2CSP can be used to protect I/O interfaces, such as USB Type-C ®、 DisplayPort ™、 HDMI ™ And SD cards carry high-speed data transmission rates of up to 20Gbps- fifty-five ˚ C to+150 ˚ The operating temperature range of C ensures continuous protection even in challenging product application environments.
Diodes' D3V3Z1BD2CSP TVS is packaged in an extremely compact DSN0603 wafer level chip size package, measuring only 0.6mm x 0.3mm x 0.3mm.
