Infineon launched a dual channel independent DC-DC controller to realize four standard functions of LED headlights: high beam (HB), low beam (LB), daytime running lamp (DRL) and turn signal lamp

TLD6098-2ES is a multi topology controller, which can support boost, buck, SEPIC and flyback topology. The integrated PMOS gate driver has a high side load disconnection function, which can reduce the LED brightness to ensure high system reliability. In addition, the integrated spread spectrum modulator improves EMC performance and facilitates system verification at the customer's site. Each channel of TLD6098-2ES can provide analog and PWM dimming functions, which can accurately control LED brightness. TLD6098-2ES has a wide input voltage range of 4.5 V to 60 V, and can even support battery system applications with a working voltage of 24 V.
