Infineon launched XENSIV TLE4971 series magnetic current sensor for vehicles
【Introduction】 Infineon Technology recently announced the launch of the new XENSIV ™ TLE4971 series magnetic current sensor further enriches its portfolio of automotive current sensor products. This 3.3V XENSIV ™ TLI4971 device adopts TISON package with integrated guide rail structure, which can support four preset current ranges of 25 A, 50 A, 75 A and 120 A. TLE4971 series has a compact design and advanced environment sensing function, which is suitable for various automotive use cases, including on-board charger (OBC), high-voltage auxiliary driver and charging applications. In addition, TLE4971 series magnetic current sensors can also be used in various industrial applications, such as electric vehicle DC charger, industrial driver, servo driver, photovoltaic inverter, etc.
Based on its unique temperature and stress compensation characteristics, Infineon XENSIV ™ TLE4971 magnetic current sensor can realize accurate magnetoelectric current measurement and avoid negative impact caused by hysteresis or saturation effect of magnetic core. Because of the differential sensing structure, it can avoid stray field interference without magnetic core or shielding. In addition, this series of sensors is very suitable for applications using wide band gap solutions such as gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC). The integrated EEPROM allows customers to customize the over-current detection (OCD) threshold and anti-interference pulse filter of the sensor according to different applications.
The sensor series is packaged in a small PG-TISON-8-5 package to provide a highly compact design for a variety of applications. With the minimum insertion resistance of 220 µ Ω and inductance less than 1 nH, the system loss can be reduced, and the system efficiency and measurement accuracy can be improved. In addition, the package has high dynamic range, high surge current and leading thermal performance. XENSIV ™ TLE4971 series devices comply with AEC-Q100 Class I standard, are suitable for automotive applications with operating temperatures up to 125 ° C, and have higher output accuracy. To support industrial applications, all models of the series are available in standard and UL certified versions.
