Toshiba launches overvoltage protection zener diode with ultra small sod-962 package
[introduction] Toshiba electronic components and Memory Devices Co., Ltd. ("Toshiba") launched the "cslz series" zener diode, which can protect semiconductor devices from switching surges / induced lightning surges [1] and electrostatic discharge (ESD) [2]. There are 10 products in this product line, and the zener voltage covers a range of 5.6v to 30V (typical value).
The new zener diode can prevent semiconductor devices from being affected by nanosecond ESD [2], microsecond to millisecond switching surges, and overvoltage pulses close to DC. The product is first packaged in Toshiba zener diode with ultra-small sod-962 [3], with an installation area of 0.1984mm2 (typical value). Compared with Toshiba's current products [4] packaged in sod-523 [5], the occupied area is reduced by about 85%, allowing high-density installation on the equipment. The product is helpful to effectively use the circuit board and improve the reliability of the equipment.
