Xinna Sensor Launches High Performance IMU for autonomous vehicle: IMU330RA

IMU330RA supports both 1000Base-T1 automotive Ethernet and CAN-FD interfaces, and provides a low latency update rate of up to 1000Hz. This IMU is an ASIL B certified vehicle gauge level sensor that lays the foundation for integrating positioning systems into the ASIL D level.

Our IMU sensor IMU330RA is designed specifically for advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) at L3 and higher levels in automobiles. IMU is the basic element of navigation and safety system of autonomous vehicle. The IMU works in collaboration with various sensing sensors (such as LiDAR, cameras, radar, odometers, etc.) to ensure that the vehicle is driving on the correct path. However, if the sensing sensors fail due to location challenges such as tunnels, underground areas, or environmental challenges such as heavy rain, snow, and smoke, the IMU's data can keep the vehicle on its planned path until the data from the sensing sensors is restored or the vehicle safely stops.
