Diodes' low-voltage Hall effect latch can achieve high sensitivity sensing in industrial and automotive motor control product applications
Diodes Corporation (Nasdaq: DIOD) has launched a series of low voltage, high sensitivity Hall effect latches that meet automotive specifications. AH171xQ series devices can be used for brushless DC (BLDC) motor commutation speed measurement, angle or Linear encoder and position sensor, which meet the stringent requirements of automotive and industrial product applications.
The device options in this series provide three kinds of high-sensitivity BOP and BRP settings (+/-7 Gauss,+/-18 Gauss sum+/-50 Gauss), with a strict operating range, which can provide accurate and reliable switching points. These latches have a high-speed 30kHz sensing bandwidth, can support higher speed sensing, and have a high degree of protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD), 8kV Mannequin (HBM), and 2kV charging device model (CDM) to ensure robust operation.
These latches, which comply with the AEC-Q100 level 0 standard, adopt a chopping stable architecture and an internal voltage regulator with temperature compensation. They have been optimized and can operate reliably in the power supply range of 2.4V to 5.5V and the temperature range of -40 to+150 ° C. These devices are manufactured by IATF 16949 certified facilities and support PPAP files.
The AH171xQ series latch is packaged in SOT23.
